Nails by Kim: Pastel and neons mix and match
This was a design which I did a year ago! I really like this set. Wyendi chose pastels for one hand and neons for the other.

She sent me a few designs but she eventually settled for this set. Design was from Girls Pic. We modified the design, left out the studs and added a blinged bow! Love it!

I had this exact set on my nails previously alternating peach and mint, Sharon liked them but opted for a full peach version.

I wanted something really easy and quick, but not boring. Came across this pic on IG a while back and I saved it as one of my to do designs.
Colours used: Gelish Shake it till you samba, Water Field, Sheek White, Angel Pro black.

Stripes were done using different gel polishes and the stars were stickers

Sherlene was in Japan and she was super nice! She made a trip to Nail Tat and she whatsapped me to ask if I wanted anything! One of the stickers I fell in love with was this one!

She came over to get her nails done, and this was in Jan 2013. Who says you can only have snowflakes during Dec? I think snowflakes can be for whenever you want!

The day I got my brows done
I never would have expected myself to get my brows done at all! I've always been quite comfortable filling in my brows whenever I have to and I was also afraid that anyone who does my brows will do a bad job. I usually shape my brows myself too.
After seeing my gym mate's brows after she got them done, I really liked them! I decided to take the plunge and go get them done too.
My brows are usually almost non existent, here's a pic of me with totally no makeup on and I also forgot to draw my brows that day when I left the house.
This is how I usually draw my own brows.
I was already sitting in the shop, waiting to get them done. Feeling super nervous!
This pic was taken after she had drawn how my brows were gonna look like.
I was pointing to the one I liked more, but I went with the other side because she said it made me look less fierce, and the gals (thanks Amy, Jerl and Soph!) also said the other side was nicer.
She then proceeded to draw the other side.
She was really meticulous! She really took her time and effort to make sure both sides were even because once they were on, I will have to live with them!
The numbing cream went on.
I kept asking her if it was gonna be painful because I have a very low threshold of pain. She kept telling me it wouldn't hurt. Still damn scared! HAHA
That's one side done! It really wasn't painful at all. When it started to hurt a little (still very bearable) I told her and she applied more numbing cream for me.

My brows were done!
I had to apply this gel 4-5 times a day for a week, there would be some peeling. I did this whenever I could. This is after almost 2 weeks. Fresh out of the shower, absolutely no makeup on!
I have brows 24/7!! It's an awesome feeling looking in the mirror and seeing brows there. And also because I gym so much, even though I perspire and look like crap after my workouts, looking in the mirror and seeing brows there, happy! I do not exercise with makeup on BTW. I always remove it.
I love how natural they look, and that I don't look like La Pi Xiao Xin. I can't wait for my touch up in 2 mths!
This cost me $280 plus a free touch up within two months. I did them at Beaute Fashion in AMK central. The ladies there are very good. Jane went and did them too! We are both loving our brows!
