It's been too long, here are some random nail art that I've done.
I have been thinking about going short the whole of last week and I kinda finally decided I would. I initially wanted to wait 2 more weeks before going for my haircut, but I was thinking since I was so free and feeling bored, I might as well go! I also wanted to quickly get it cut before I chicken out and decide to just trim my hair instead.
I was super nervous as this was it! There was no turning back. My stylist knows how chicken I am about haircuts lol! When she snipped my hair, I actually gasped hahah!
Still not complete, but soo short!! I definitely can't tie my hair up anymore
I was sitting next to a lady who had a super nice cut, I actually asked my stylist if I could try that style. She told me it might be too short for my liking for now, and told me to stick with this style first until I get used to it, then the next time I go get my hair cut, I can try that.
So here's how my hair looks like now!
I LOVE MY HAIR! I know I keep saying that after every hair cut, but I really do love my hair! And she's the reason why I really dare to go short. For now, this is the shortest I have ever gone in 15 years! So short that I can't even tie my hair up anymore!
Mum approves of the hair, and even the bro mentioned that I looked fresher. I don't miss my long hair at all and I think I'm gonna be sporting short hair for at least a while more!
On Christmas last year, I took the plunge and chopped off quite a lot of my hair! Blogged about it here. http://ladeekim.onsugar.com/Short-new-long-26626742
Then since then I've been kinda going shorter. It started when I wanted to snip off the bleached ends of my hair and it was actually really short!
I went to get it trimmed last Wednesday and I was semi falling aslp!
I love my stylist! All thanks to Veneta's recommendation! I'm still very sad that Sam is on a break :( I find it very hard to trust people with my hair, and when I do, I won't wanna go anywhere else!
It's short, the shortest I've ever gone, last time was probably 15 years ago! I actually love this length very much. I wanted to go shorter but as I was going to Taipei in 2 weeks, I didn't want to risk looking like a kuku just in case it turned out bad so I just opted for a trim.
I was thinking, crap, I'm never going to be able to get my hair to look like that again. I don't know how to blow dry it the way she did. I went home and decided to experiment with my GHD after my shower. I was quite pleased with how the hair turned out.
Not quite the same, but I can deal with this.
One more I took the next day just for the fun of it! I think the GHD is such a hair saver! I don't use it everyday though, only on days when I want my hair to stop sticking out all over the place. I used to hate it when my hair didn't fall flat down, but now I've learnt to embrace it.
Who would have expected me to go this short? The person who felt like her heart was being cut when only an inch was trimmed. Now I'm even googling for nice short hairstyles. I've found a few and I'm gonna wait till I come back from Taipei before I decide whether I should just do it!
